I have sun room that is 6 by 12 feet with 6 by 4 foot window and a normal 3 by4 foot window that faces in to my living room. How do I black out the bog window without making looked blacked out yet still be able to keep the window open so that I may have intake fan to blow fresh air in

pics of the window would help, but usually if you have blinds in the window you can black out behind them.

So you want it blacked out but to not look blacked out but you still want to open it? I don't think you can black out a window and then still use it for ventilation...

I am thinking I can build a box around the window put blinds up so it looks like blinds from the out side put black plastic on blind leave tiny slits cut in the plastic then set a fan up inside the box. That's just what I was thinking but if anyone has any idea's or if you could tell me what you did to have a fresh air intake or just what you did to black out your windows

i use those block carbon filters thats come in rolls. they are supposed to be for aircondiotioners but work great i layered once or twice to block light and filter air. you can get them at menards

Word of advise from first hand experience...

I have a window (faces west so it gets a lot of sun)... I covered it by using a 1/2" piece of that foam insulation with the mylar on one side...

First I made a piece to fit within the window casing. That sat behind a simple pair of vinyl mini-blinds. Then I stood a full sheet up behind that
and anchored it to the wall (use something simple like drywall screws and fender washers)...

Now here's your warning... My blinds freaking melted and fell out of their little brakcets.... it was all warped to shit... Between the temp of the lights
I was testing (too hot / no ventilation) and the outside sun beating on the glass... it made an oven...

Now... I'm running the more expensive plastic "faux wood" mini-blinds and they are much thicker and here's the important part... they came with metal
brackets and the header itself is metal... no more sagging at least from the top...

Fingers crossed... I'm only running 1/2 of my lighting due to that mishap... scaled things back until I can do something for ventilation.

Also - I suspect I'm getting very low temps at night by that window... testing tonight with a min/max temp probe where I've reset the min reading....
