Blacklight growing

At some point I heard something about using (or maybe it was not using) blacklights to grow. Anyone heard of this?

wouldn't work...

but i couldn't tell you why except i would think they were way to dim(low lumens) and wrong spectrum...but i could be wrong.

Well that's interesting. I'm going to do my own little experiment, when it comes time to flower.
