Goooood Moornin! =)

I've got a slight issue (hopefully) , Almost everyday there is blackouts in the hole hood for about 1 hour max 2,5. Usually not more than once a day. There is these rechargeabel fluorecent emergency lights (200w) u can buy, would 5 of those sustain my fruits for 2 hours? ..

Best Regards :leaf:

If its indoors why not just set its dark schedule around the usual hours that the blackout occurs?

that's what I would do. Maybe there is a larger concern with heat and the black outs are occurring at peak usage hours. I wonder what the reason for these black outs are.

It's indoors , the blackouts are very irregular. sometimes 4 am , sometimes 4 pm. It's pretty hot ,the high usage of air conditioners is probably overloading the main switch for the hole area.

But do anyone have experience with these rechargeabel emergency lights? how long do they give u the needed power?

I'd say that they would work if, they're the correct spectrum.

A hour or two of dark won't hurt your plants, I'd be more concerned about my lights.

does your whole place blackout or just the light?

oh shit haha i thought he ment his light hood. idk why.

that is weird about multiple houses going out. have you contacted the electric provider to find out why? i would be pretty mad about that. it should be something the city should have to fix. what if you had a fishtank or a person on life support or something in the house.

Gonna be some serious issues come flowering though.
Why is that?

Now the blackouts arent everyday , but almost .. and they usually dont last more than 1 hour.
If i would have say 800-1000watts of emergency lights that start as soon as the power go off , wouldnt that be sufficent enough to sustain 20-25 plants just under that short time?
