what's good, everyone? just trimmed up and bagged my very first plant - 1.1oz of airy buds. i'm just happy to have any yield at all; i still have three more plants from this first run to dry and trim. this first ounce will be plenty for me while i wait on the others.

just put a load of bones in a hot oven, roasting them up for beef bone broth tomorrow. all this talk of snow and my recent sickness have me craving hot soups.

and going through seed catalogs for the garden this year...i need to get my order in by tomorrow for a larger co-op order so i'm kinda scrambling on what to do with the space. between the holidays, traveling, getting the chickens, and getting sick af, i haven't even though about the garden yet!

6b. i go in on a group order with local farmers and homesteaders, which means i'm held to their deadline. usually i'm ready with it all, but this year just had too many other distractions.

hoping to do some plants outside this year, too. so i'm trying to figure out how much space they'll need and if i should put them in the ground or use some extra 10gallon fabric pots instead...

I used a 50 gal smart pot last year outside.

Not sure if I've just been underfeeding with coco, or if it's a nutrient uptake issue, possibly from being far off on pH. Guess I'll go by the meter for now and see how it goes. Worst case scenario, the plants crash and burn then I can yank them and go back to soil.

I'm so out of touch, freeze dried Skittles is a thing?? Not sure about 10 bucks for candy but it sounds like necessary stoner food.
Oh, they are a thing and They. Are. Glorious!!!!! Keep an eye out at farmer markets or mom and pop shops. That's where you'll normally see them. Well worth checking them out. With Skittles in particular, they end up crispy and airy.
