i often think that The Algorithm is fucked up because i see ads all the time for stuff that doesn't pertain to me; my favorite are the erectile dysfunction drugs when there is a perfectly functioning penis in this household.

and then....then.....

i get targeted correctly. take all my money

this came via an email blast today.

i almost bought some, but they weren't labeled as skittles and i was worried about getting a knockoff candy. but what i saw looked exactly like this and they were called "fruit drops"

i need to revisit this decision.
We were in Ocean City, Md this weekend.

There is a candy shop on every corner, it seems.

Dollies had the Sugar Free Chocolates we were seeking.
Dolles Candyland

My mom will be happy they had over a dozen Sugar Free Chocolate selections,

They had a few Freeze dried flavors too.

For freeze-dried they had:
Skittles aka Freetles,
Sweetarts aka Freez-tarts and
Spree aka Spreezies.

I like the sweettarts freeze-dried better than the others, although I would stop traffic in both directions to pick any of them up.

You have to try Thrashers French Fries on the boardwalk if you go back there. Nicolas Pizza in Rehoboth Beach is like 45 minutes away and their version of a stromboli called a Nicoboli is to die for. Damn now im craving beach food lol.
There's several live streaming cameras on the boardwalk there that make for awesome people watching. Hope y'all had a great time.

what is the texture? are they chewy? do they crunch or shatter? one of my favorite parts with skittles is the chewiness.

I have actually been there, I was in Virginia for work and headed up the coast. Wanted to fill a couple "States I have been in" squares. It was a culture shock when I couldn't park next to the ocean without paying up for the pleasure. I'll stick to the Pacific.
It was free when I was a kid but they started charging when they expanded the lot and it's crazy expensive now. The beach towns down there have a racket going with the parking meters. My cousin has a house down there that's just 2 houses away from the beach and we stay there for the private beach and free parking.

Harvest is basically done - trimming, taking down old system for cleaning, putting in new clean system, refilling reservoirs, etc.. It was a lot of work, but I don't have a job, so I've got time.

Old system coming out to be cleaned and sanitized -

New, clean system ready to go in -

IMG_0417.JPG

New system put in save for the upper trellis -

IMG_0421.JPG

New system in and veg plants inserted. I LSTed them hard, broke them in half and tucked all the branches under the lower trellis -

How am I gonna get out these massive root mats out of the rails?

IMG_0420.JPG

First pull up and cut the net cups free -

IMG_0435.JPG

Then I just turned the rails upside down and gave it a bang. Check out the cool root mat that just slid out!

One thing I dig about this system is the ease of rez maintenance - I hook up a garden hose to the kitchen sink, and the rez pump pumps out all the old nutes. I then turn off the pump, turn on the kitchen faucet with the hose attached, and fill the rez up in the opposite direction. Love it -

It is a fucking jungle in the mom tray, I gotta cut them down and take clones tonight!

IMG_0424.JPG

Drying rack all filled up, hoping for 10 oz. dry for this first run. We'll see -

Glad to take a couple week break after taking clones tonight. Kinda tired of plant shit for now...

Thanks, Annie. What were the pros and cons of aero rails when you ran them? Do you have any pics of those old systems?
I never ran Aero rails. I ran my home made ones. I used 8" PVC Sewer pipe. I remember looking at those cute little Aero systems. They were beautiful but I couldn't imagine them holding up an actual plant LOL. Since then I learned indoor plant not equal to outdoor plants :eyesmoke:

Must have been a while ago. Now in a bunch of places on the east coast you need to buy tickets to even go on the sand. At least that’s how it is in Ocean City, NJ
