Once my FIL retired, he made coat racks from pieces of barn wood and old door knobs.

Little old ladies steal old doorknobs, bring their own tools even.
Steal them out of historical homes, houses for sale, old stores, offices.
Guess there is a black market online (eBay) that deals in that stuff.

According to Mrs. S., my FIL didn't pilfer the door knobs from other locations. The story goes that if he heard of friend(s) who were doing major renos, he would ask for any door knobs that were being pitched.
I bet he pilfered the barn wood though.

Is that clear plastic sealed? You could be pulling air through that seam and compromise the draw.

No not sealed. This is v1, now I’m fixing the deficiencies. V2 will have clear two way tape on all the edges, front and back.
I got the 1/4” lexan for free but had to cut it to size. I used a scorer to score it then it’s supposed to snap along the line. I don’t know if you’ve ever tried to snap 1/4” lexan, but it’s damn near impossible! And forget about clean, straight lines.
I ordered a 18x24” 1/4” sheet that came today. I’ll do v2 later this week.

Repeat your score 3 times and you'll get a clean snap. And clamps for your straightedge.

Yeah I saw the edges too. If you're meticulous......sand it. A good bead of clear lexel will work great for "difference" between the lexan and the wood, maybe better than the double sided tape.

you get a laugh reaction ‘cause I scored it hundreds of times. Took me over an hour to do four sides. I don’t have clamps so I stood on a 1x4 board and reefed on it until it snapped.

You just have to find your middle. There's sativa, indica, and hybrid(indica/indica, indica/sativa). It depends on how you want to feel. I tend to lean towards hybrids(indica/indica) for medical reasons. I don't work anymore so it helps me focus like a nerd on things. Lol!
