Called them and they verified the email account had just been changed. Cancelled the bank card that was saved and checked the account to see if any activity showed up, luckily it seems I caught it early so no fraud charges that we have seen so far. Disaster hopefully avoided.

We have one credit card and don't plan on getting another so locking it wouldn't be a problem.
