I don't usually talk about the weather, but this is the harshest summer day so far this year. 111f heat index. It is like a kick in the gut every time I simply step onto the deck. I believe that if I didn't have modern technology at my disposal, I would just die on a day like this. Comfort is a top priority for me. It is SO cool and dry in my house, I'm betting I'm paying over $20 today to keep the house like this. Fuck, I'd pay double that if necessary. Kooky start to the day - my grow room was at 80f, and it never goes above 73f. I have a huge 12k AC in that little room, I know that it's hot out, but c'mon. Turns out my fan that cools the lights was off! WTF??? I guess the timer failed, so I replaced it with a new one. Now it is 73f in there again, and all is right with the world. So glad the problem wasn't the fan. Stay cool, folks...

I vacuum pack and freeze. But interested if the freeze dryer works. What's everything like after you rehydrate?
The fruit has been great. The freshness of flavor is wild and it's easy to rehydrate and it looks really good. Fresh mushrooms also excellent. Still mostly in the what can we put in there stage! Fall is approaching, lots of fruit to buy n dry!
