It was the early 70's. He/his partners truly had no rules...it was all about being undercover, blending in and being a good liar/actor. They had to party enough with the perps to be believable. He liked to drink so he said he'd get buzzed and walk in with a lit joint he never inhaled from...or act already wasted when the needles came out. Whatever was needed to get the evidence and make the bust.Shouldn't those be in an evidence locker?
