Mmmm cheese. I am having trouble snacking right now. My roomie clearly has norovirus and the sounds are awful, poor girl. I am probably not long for this world.

They really aren't that expensive. A little garlic powder and S&P in olive oil in a cast iron pan on the stove. A few minutes each side, Bob's your uncle.

I love tuna steaks. But here they tend to cost a lot. It does have to be shipped further to ger to illinois, probably...
The good cheap fish is catfish or chubbs.

Steaks are about the same price so it is what it is. I like both of them so I pay up.
Oh, that's probably true. I couldn't tell you the beef steak prices here, it's my least favorite mammal to chomp on, lol

I'm sad about the cost of beef.lol I like the fact that there's more for me though. Lately I've been going down to the local butcher here in town. If I buy enough meat it averages out to about $5 a pound.

Chicken's been my go-to lately. The eggs have been pretty expensive so I get them from a farmer here down the road. I eat a lot of boneless, skinless thighs and breasts. Been able to get them around $2 a pound.

Same here, there's a sale on boneless breast's for 1.99. I bought a few packs for the freezer. Good animal replacement food when deliveries get fucked, even if it don't want chicken myself
