We use Cal hypo to shock the shit out of algae blooms. Mostly vinyl pools with a sprinkling of fiberglass out these parts. People either use erosion feeders with the trichlor or salt systems. But not too many plaster concrete pools out this way. Cal hypo all day just make sense with those, getting the calcium they need.
My first pool was a vinyl pool. It was a lovely pool and where my son learned to swim, nice memories.

We got snow, but again, not as much as predicted. Looks like an inch or so. We get some killer storms in March sometimes though so I know it's not over yet!!

Well I think I may have found my next vehicle. A Mazda! I was really leaning towards a new Honda, and I am still going to drive an HR-V, but I am really excited to drive a Mazda CX-30. It's getting too hard to get in and out of a low sitting car. I do need want a new car though, badly!! At times, and then other times I remember what a frugal bastard I am.

Same here and we lived next to a huge dairy farm....They actually made arrangements for me to live and work there when I was 14-15 y.o. but then backed out of it at the last minute. I left shortly after that....days before I turned 16 I was gone!
No sad faces...I was off to Florida on an adventure!! So much better than school, and I learned way more!!

Mazda probably has the nicest red paint job I've seen. What color you considering. As for the money I feel your pain. My new one goes in for her first maintenance check up in May! That first year flew by.

I like the red too, but probably a darker color. Mazda has that wide plastic trim around the wheels and door bottoms that I think looks better against a dark color....It does give good protection probably.

I am also going to drive a (gutless) Honda HR-V, but I am so turned off by Hondas paint quality, or lack of it. Paint quality is there number 1 complaint. My buddy's new Civic already has 4 chips in the paint and he drives his old car on snowy days....and he has put about 6 coats of paste wax on it. I saw that and I was like, fuck Honda!! It has less than 2,000 miles and 4 paint chips!!

Yeah, that and their designed undersized batteries. That's why I waited 2 model years hoping they'd fix this but nope. So I left Honda an I'm not unhappy. My Ford Probe is a Mazda MX-6/626 :) I love that car.
