OMG I tried it once! You have to buffer it to set the CEC (cation exchange capacity) then you have to add nutrients to a base level and constantly water with no lower than say 250-300 PPM (.25 ec) to maintain your CEC. Plus it itches and feels like I'm stuffing a pot like an Easter Basket, never again.OK, since I am again being lazy, I am shopping coco coir stuff.
Do you guys buy the bricks? Seems a little pricy. Do you re-use it?

So if i downsize to 2 gallon pots, roughly 1 brick per pot. Will cost me about $50 for 8 plants.
Any better brand coco to buy?
I use the same Canna Coco @Laughing Grass uses cut about 30-50% with xlg perlite and it's fabulous and not picky.
PS you can reuse it and I have but I use it as top dressing in my outdoor gardens.
