Yeah, we have a good sized piece of land and it's heavily wooded with several barns and a shop building. Him and his friends created an airsoft battle area with sniper platforms and brush hideaways so they could have big wars. I was just happy he put the Gameboy down and was playing outside. His is a mock-up of an AR-15 and I use it to spook nuisance wild life and wild dogs. I like that it spooks them without hurting them. I have rubber slugs for really bad bear problems that the game warden gave me but usually the airsoft and yelling does the trick.
I'm trying to get my kids to go out right now lol it's a beautiful day and they're playing video games and watching someone else play video games on TV o_O

Don't get me wrong ... there's nothing wrong with the Civic.

I was just wondering about that cause we rented the big Chrysler van for our Fl. trip and that feature of the engine cutting out at a stop light took me days to get used to. I think I was finally used to it a week later when we dropped the boat off at MCO.
I have mercedes taste and a honda budget :(

I'm so used to it now I don't even notice it. Most of the time it doesn't work. In the winter I have my seat warmer and steering wheel warmer on and my heat at full blast. I think it's just too much draw. Once it's over 30 I have the ac cranked and doesn't shut off.

dont start me on this i have two teenage daughters that hibernate like bears for 12 months of the year and two gamer boys glued to various devices :wall:
Mine's plugged into her iPad running 5 apps at once, one of them is playing her music. She already had music school summer camp this morning, so I'm letting her chill. She just turned 13, between all the summer camps and her annual summer trip to grand-mom's she's getting about 2.5 total free weeks this year. She sleeps like a log, stays up on her iToys too late into the night, is moody, grumpy, and sometimes just smells horrible. So a teenager. She's also got a 4.0 after two years, determined to carry it a third, and has already knocked out one high school class while in jr. high and will knock out 2 more next year. So I take my wins and losses, it's nearing the temp of the surface of the sun outside with a UV index of sizzle, the coastal breeze is carrying mold-fungus and flesh eating bacteria from the sargassum blob, and I'm sure a train derailed somewhere spewing toxic crap into the air. There's no reason to force that kind of torture on a kid, plug em in, the safest world will be the virtual one in 20 years. Parenting pleasures my parents didn't have, tablets and ear buds. I didn't wear headphones for gaming until latency free bluetooth, which was long after my parents asked me to turn it down.

I break it down to fractions, 5 years left then I can kick her out to college and get some peace, I've already completed 12 years, that's 2/3 done. Five more years and then the middle aged drugged out orgies can commence. I can wait, it gives me some time to chisel this dad-bod.

you know the scene in the movies when the girl vampires get hit with sunlight and start to die and make moaning noises

its like that waking them up
Yeah, that's about right. To think a short 11 years ago she banged her crib against the wall while yelling, "Daddy!! Where! Are! You!" if I wasn't picking her up to wake her up. After I got her the iPad, I wrote a dubstep bugle reveille and put it in her alarm sounds on her iPad, if she doesn't wake up I just flip to that and bass her butt out of bed west point style. Haven't had to do that in a minute. :D

Just ordered pump #2. I split the first one over tightening the cheap Chinese plastic  Probably high on PCV glue. I can get everything else plumbed up though. After I smoke another one.

What I really want, is a nap. Damned crow was making a ton of noise at 5 am....for like a good 40 minutes straight, back and forth with another one. Probably arguing over who stole it's breakfast. I need to keep a few firecrackers on hand for these events.
