Morning all y'all!!

Today is the day that I, according to Biff Tannen, "make like a tree and get out of here!" The girls have been tended to and will be just fine for the next four days.

Legends Battlefield, Peninsula Lakes, Seneca Hickory Stick and Grand Niagara await our footsteps. Yup - Niagara starts today and access to RIU will be non existent until Friday morning - which is also when we will take possession of The Scarlett Pumpernickel.

So enjoy the banter folks and I will "see" y'all in a few days.
Maybe you'll run into Neo.

Have fun.

Mondays do suck and i am retired, mostly!!

Sun is shining but supposed to rain all afternoon. I should get a walk in early! And hit the grocery store.

But I really want to go back to bed...Come on coffee, do your magic! o_O
I did a lot of organizing this weekend! Nothing on your scale but still this cool morning air is saying, "Go back to bed" and that's after coffee. I'm afraid if I don't start moving I'll start sleeping.

I do get to play with making halo's and setting up auto watering today.

Should be kind of fun...and probably kind of aggravating.

I'm just proud of myself for figuring out the digital timer!!

Here's a question. With DTW, do I have to water til runoff every time I water? I am planning on 3 waterings a day. Seems like once a day would be enough to flush them out.

I usually get some run off every watering but every 2 weeks I do a low osmolar flush so I remove any excess and hence don't really worry about amount of run off in between.

My runoff cleaner upper died on Saturday. When I turned the vacuum on it will run for like a minute then turn off. It was also hot to the touch. I got a new Ryobi cordless vac for $50. The box was pretty damaged but the vacuum was fine and it had all its accessories.

I'm going with @manfredo 's recommendation and getting a condensate pump so I'm removed from the equation except for emptying the bucket :)

You guys are going to make me switch to coco, aren't you

:dunce:
ugh I keep debating it but i have all the hydroton already :D. Just hate washing it to get the roots and salt buildup out. I really like ebb/flow style grows and debating if it would be cheaper to build a 4x4 table to fit a tent vs using another controller + module. I really like having the tank outside the grow room this go around, i can chech PH/EC and refill any time vs coordinating around lights on.

I'd seen those new airpot style as well? fabric pot inside the ebb and flow to keep tap roots from growing into the pipes would be a good modification too.

I started out in NFT rails with hydroton. I hated that shit, the cleaning was such a pita. Coco gave me more temp buffering too so I don't have to run a chiller.
