Reminds me of my one grandma...an old Italian lady who was happiest working and cleaning. At the nursing home she insisted on working (she was on the dementia ward) so they gave her a job....Preparing the silverware for the patients every day, by wrapping the silverware in a napkin, and a few other little "jobs" like that. Got me a craving for a Melanie Pringles hot turkey sammy - which is pretty much a typical Christmas dinner on thick brown bread. It's good even on a 24C day.... I love hot beef or turkey sandwiches with mashed taters swimming in gravy, especially on a cold day ...
No neighbors that I can compare yards to, surrounded by woods, and my grass is majority clover. All those powers combined make it so I can mow when I want to. The last few rains have thickened it up quite a bit though. I'll be mowing in the next several days.Six weeks?
Got goats?
Love greasy spoon breakfast places. Especially when a little hung over.We found a nice little breakfast joint on our latest Niagara jaunt that was run by a Greek couple.
They both had a great sense of humour and he made a plate of Eggs Benny that was to die for.
The rain this year has been crazy. Our lawns are normally brown and crispy by this time of year but they're lush and green right now.No neighbors that I can compare yards to, surrounded by woods, and my grass is majority clover.
