Blaze & Daze

how many times did you get your fingers slammed in the door from your brothers and sisters like i did?
That’s what i remember about our station wagon.
My mom did by my dad and I laughed, blood never bothered me. I felt sorry for her but it all appeared so comical when you're trained by those violent cartoons :) at least that's what the relatives said.

Any hallmarks or imprints other than the monogram on the silver? Usually solid not plated is often marked. Does it bend easy or is any of it flaking? You could cut into a section.
I bent a smaller spoon till it broke, no flaking, and very silver looking metal on the inside where it isn’t tarnished. Every piece has 3 small marks on the other side, but they don’t actually look like anything really. I can take a picture of them.

The story that came with them is that the are Austrian-Hungarian and date between 1886 and 1922 and supposedly .800 silver purity, but I have no idea if any of that is true. My grandfather did come from Hungary before WW2, that much is true.

The hallmark on the left looks like sheffield rose. Is the middle one a crown?

@Laughing Grass you’re amazing. You made me think to type in “Austrian rose silver hallmark” and I fucking found it! The rose is this! I just confirmed with my jewelers loupe. The head is of Diana, is has a little 3 that denotes it’s .800 silver, and a ‘p’ on the right side that stand for “pest” from Budapest. You fucking beautiful genius you!
