Xfinity tried to double my rate for internet service, so I did what I do every year. I called them to cancel, and they sent me straight to a special dept that you can't get to any other way. They ask why I'm cancelling, and I just say that I cannot afford to pay the new rate they're charging. They then put me back onto the old rate. Easy Peasy. It is cool to see that a lot of companies are realizing that it costs them ten times more to acquire a new customer than to retain existing ones, I used to have to explain that to them. Happy Savings!
