Blimburn Kush Mints & 2 crosses made with KM x Acapulco Gold side by side

Week 5 flower.

on the left is a Blimburn Kush Mints, the right 2 plants are KM x Acapulco Gold (Barney’s Farm reversed pollen)
The KM looks to be a week ahead of the crosses. The KM was topped, the crosses were not. The tallest is 36” for reference.

They look very similar in morphology. The KM would likely be 8-12” taller if not topped but other wise pretty close.

I regrew the KM as soon as I could as I really liked it and so did my friends. They cleaned me out.

i have been playing with the Barney’s Farm AG for several grows over the last year and a half. It’s not a holy grail but it’s a good daytime smoke with decent yield and good vigor.

week 6 of flower. Putting on weight.

Hi they are looking good! what lights are you running?? ( main question ) The gap between the buds and steam length is a little long, just wondering.. I would have tipped them in the grow stage to get more branches and buds also.

The light is an Evo 8.

i topped the kush mint because I had grown it before and knew it could get big. I didn’t top the crosses to see their shape and height as they were new to me. I normally top plants other than short indicas.

Week 7 flower. They got a trim last week to open them up. They responded with a reflower spurt and the lower buds are filling in nicely.

8 weeks of flower. I will take the top half off each of the crosses tomorrow and put the bottom half back for another week along with the Kush Mint on the left.

The lower halves after harvesting the top 1/2 a couple days ago. I’ll take half again in a week and the rest in 2 weeks.
