Block light coming through closet door?

What's the best route for blocking the small amount of light that comes through the doorway in my grow closet?
I was thinking of using a bedsheet and stapling it above the doorway.
The closet is used daily as well, so it can't be a pain in the ass to enter the closet either.

if you got $50 buy a roll of panda film from a local shop, you always need panda film. Some even sell it cheap by the foot, so like 3 feet and you should be good, will cost less than $5. If you don't wanna buy panda film, bed sheet is good just make sure its dark

it's like paper in the way it bends, but I think its some sort of plastic. Its made for blocking out light, its black on the back. You can get mylar too but you're not looking to reflect anything, and mylar is a lot more thin, like 2 mil where as panda film is 6 mil. Mylar is way more expensive.

I don't think I want anything that bends/folds like paper though. I guess I'll probably go with a black king size sheet, folded in half.

i have two rolls of panda film, it does not bend like paper. it is a poly film, so its basically a thick tough to tear plastic.

White/Black plastic (also known as panda plastic or "poly"):

"Poly" is useful if you are setting up a temporary grow room or don’t want to damage the walls. Poly is easily cleaned.

The purpose of the black side is to not allow any light to pass through the plastic, which ensures your dark cycle remains dark. The white side is 75-90% reflective. Choose a 6 "mill" thickness of poly for maximum light blockage and durability.

It is a thick heavy plastic. It is not paper-like.
