Blood Meal Question

I went to my local meadows farms market and bought some Dried Blood. When I asked the guy for Blood Meal he said Dried Blood is basically the same

1. Has anyone used Dried Blood

2. Its says on the bad to put 1/2 tablespoon per plant. Should i mix the dried blood in the soil first or should I put the dried blood on top of the soil and work it in with my finger or should I just put it on top?

3. Last question, I decided to grow in a home depot 5 gallon bucket. Each bucket hold 5 gallons of Soil. How much Dried blood should i put in it?

also anyone know of some good drug test shit. My boy got a drunk in public ticket. He is now going to asap and they drug test him everyweek. Lame!! What a great problem to have huh? Be just thinking about this shit sucks. He wants to know if you guys know of any good things to use to get the THC out of your system?

Also If since i used blood meal should i get another natural fertilizer like miracle grow with high nitrogen and spray the plant every once in a while or is the dried blood good enough?

Dried blood is the water soluble version of blood meal.

Bone meal and blood meal, as well as various types of animal shit, are very beneficial to plants.

I personally would use 1/2 cup blood per 5 gal of soil and the fish emulsion. Both those have high nitrogen content, so you should find something with higher phosphorous and potassium to use as well. Good luck

so i should use both. Do you think too much nitrogen would hurt the plant?

Stop smoking is the only for sure thing. Synthetic urine is your other only safe bet. At 50.00 a pop it could get costly if testing weekly or get a card.

read the plants, if they yellow form the bottom up feed with fishy fert.
add more PK when flowering comes around.

When I first started growing, I would use Bone/Blood meal with great results after i got the hang of it....... Just mix it into the soil.... I wouldnt use a 1/2 cup for 5 gallons like recommended up top..... Not for the dried blood meal..... a tsp per gallon is fine, as it lasts throughout the whole grow, and even longer, so it would just be a waste, unless you're using it for a mother plant to use more than 1 tsp per gallon...... Me personally, I'd just use like 3 tsp per gallon, but only mix bone/blood meal to soil at the bottom of the bucket/pot, and mix in 2 gal of reg soil on top to make it easier for flushing... Just in case, sometimes some strains are really sensitive to high nitrogen, but it's rare...... That's my old school method of growing with Dyna Grow and Bloom, but recently I have decided to give additives a try, so I went with botanicare..... But if I dont see any higher yields or anything that leads me to believe that additives are truly worth it, then I will totally go back to my old school ways, as it works great for me and VERY VERY AFFORDABLE!.... $40 bucks in a quart of each grow and bloom and Blood/Bone meal... will last you forever, as everything is so highly concentrated......
