Bloom Phase: Ceramic Metal Hallide vs HPS vs LED

Im about to start my first bloom phase and Id like some advice. Ive been reading up CMHs HPSs and LEDs. This is basically what Ive got:

1) LEDs - best are the 205 watt panels. Even though they give off very little heat and use very little electric they are much more expensive and still underperform quite bit compared to HPS 400 watt bulbs.

2) HPS 400 watt - benchmark... runs hot, old tech, works well.

3) CMH 400 watt - run cooler than HPS, has a much broader spectrum than HPS. Has more red spectrum than HPS. New tech... works very well.... some say works better than equivalent wattage HPS bulbs. Downside is that they currently only available in 250 and 400 watts

I really want to use a CMH for my bloom because it has more red spectrum and runs cooler and is cheaper than a HPS 400 watt.

Id like some feedback from some more experienced guys on the subject.

From what I have spoken with who use them they tell me shorter internode spacing and a little more veg growth, both I see as a plus and yes I'm getting a couple from:

I really like the CMH and feel like it has given me good results in the past, but without a side-by-side flowering trial of CMH vs. HPS, it's hard to be certain which one is better. If someone knows of such a comparison, or has any evidence of which is better I'd really appreciate hearing about it.

can u put a 400w in a 600w bc idont see any 600w one?

cmh bulbs have to be used in magnetic hps ballasts, cant use electronic ones.

Also, magnetic ballast only, no digis.

The ones I have talked to has used both and both say about the same thing. Some seem think 2 of the 400watters are equal to a 1000 HPS bulb? But a user on Cannabis Culture Forum by the name of Panama Red has used them and a friend I know that is "tinkering" with the plans of a grow chamber that is designed to work on the space station also uses them with good results. I'm just looking for another person that has used them so I can see how they did.
