Bloom Vs. Fox Farm

ive been using the Bloom nutrient line (www.yellowbottles.com) for about 3 harvests now and i am pretty impressed with the product. i say this although i have never tried another nutrient line before. i ended up buying the product because of a 1/2 off event that was held locally and i decided to give it a try.

i have been growing next to my buddys table for the entire cycle of the current harvest we have, he uses fox farm.

we are both using 1000w HPS lights, and have been watering fairly consistently. our 4X4 tables are side by side with a single light over each table. all of our plants are potted in one gallon pots with soil-less coco fiber (a brand called tupur).

my buddy is using 6 parts of the fox farm line up which include Grow big, tiger bloom, big bloom, beastie bloomz, cha ching, open sesamie. he follows the normal feeding chart and follows all product directions to the tee.

i use the Bloom COCO A+B along with every other product you can buy of the Bloom line up. i follow the websites feeding chart to the tee and directly follow all of the products directions (while adding in Indonesian bat guano).

strain wide we noticed about 2.5x the yield where the Bloom nutrients were applied, differences of aroma are noticed with fox farm smelling sour-ish and the Bloom smelling sweet-ish. while the fox farm produces a very smooth smoke, the Bloom produces a more pronounced flavor.

it has been quite an experiment and has been fun to say the least!
but the results speak LOUD and clear! if you are willing to spend the extra $$$ for the Bloom nutrient line up you will be impressed. the results we saw directly compared to the fox farm nutrients listed above greatly weighed in the favor of Bloom's products.

the bubba kush and boo nanas were already done (kush strains)so they are trimmed and hanging. and i figured you wouldnt care about finished and trimmed plants :)
