Sometimes it's hard to argue with the voices in your headi don't think experience will change my ways. as i'm working the glass and color, things start appearing. patterns form and shapes emerge. experience will help me recognize these movements, but nothing will stop the voices in my head. "make it into a bubbler fdd, not a silly marble..."
don't see a lot of orange out there, do we?

Hey FDD, Been following your thread for a while. I must say I love your glass work. Your honeycombs are coming a long every time you post new pics of em. I even see you pickin up some more new stuff here at the end. You've been inspiring me to sketch up some stuff as well, and I totally know what you mean about the no requests, no custom orders thing because I had the same issue with some of my buddies and posters they wanted. Eventually it just got to a point where I didn't want to draw anymore. That's when I learned to keep my hobbies to just that, hobbies. You got great talent, I can't wait to see what you come up with next.

i've never seen your artwork, maybe we can do a "trade".
if any other "artists" are interested we could start a thread.
we do trades over at the glass forum. 20 people join in and names are drawn from a hat. everybody makes a marble and sends it to someone else. or a pendant, or goblet, or whatever we have decided we are trading. takes a month or two for it all to go down, but some really cool stuff comes out of it all.

I posted a lot of my older stuff up in the inspired art thread. But it's almost too old, the quality is quite a bit less than I expect from myself now....which is also why I have a lot of unfinished stuff! haha. Anyways I got 2 or 3 in the works as of now that I'm getting really close to finishing you'll be one of the first to know when I do.

Ah ok so im super late 0_oi made these two 14mm slides for fun. the pink one is all done by me, the one with green, black and red is a collab. N3rd did the tube pull and wig-waggy, i made it into a slide.
i have a bunch more pics of all my spoons for the shop but i'm in a hurry. i'll post more pics later. the 2 slides are for sale if anyone wants them.
