Yo be surprised how many people on he east coast have this cut and many more legit cuts. People are all about passing the good stuff around if you know good people. Keep looking around talking to friends and people you will find her you live in a area where great legit elite genetics are around.

That's a spot on description of mine. but more berry than spice. If I don't hit it first thing in the AM, I may as well not bother. And after a couple of weeks of trying, I pretty much don't. I've got two popped now to back up the 'goji project', and looks like at least one will be needed. I'd trade half the yield in a minute for better potency.

Yeah this HSO is frustrating, I almost dropped it but keeping it going a bit longer for a couple of people that really like it. Great taste and smell, good amount of frost but lacks potency compared to others I'm running. Looks just like that pic of the original/clone-only too.

if you guys can't get the santa cruz cut, I HIGHLY recommend trying Bodhi's blueberry hashplant..
Bodhi's 88g13/hp is a beastly man-stud

my landlord ran the hso BD (cuz he's a jackass and doesn't know how to grow cloned plants outside)
anyways, he ran 20 seeds, and some were fairly nice, ALL were waaaay more indica dom than the SCBD, by FAR..
he got some nice phenos, and it was great smoke, just not as good or anything like the Santa cruz cut
In my opinion they should change the name, cuz if you grow it expecting it to be anything like the scbd, you'll be chapped, but it is a nice smoke, and in no way is it a bad strain, just nothing like the actual BD.
the SC bluedream I can spot out of a crowd of plants, no problem, it's unmistakable.
One of the absolute BEST strains out there, does everything very well. Mold resistant, BUCKETS of herb (especially outside), great potency, great taste, great density.. and it clones fast, grows fast, buds fast (especially considering it's a sat dom)
BUT... because of its ease of growing it's totally saturated.. everyone and their mom out here in CA has grown or is growing the BD..

Hopefully I'll get to try some of that SCBD at some point to compare. I'm in Canada and it's difficult to get clones at all, never mind trying to find a specific (legit) cut. This HSO pheno I have is probably a close representation and has a lot of the features you mentioned, just lacks a good punch. It produces an average of 1 oz. per gallon of medium so not bad at all. I may try and cross it with another cross I'm working that has a much better punch and similar smell/taste profiles, it started with JTR x Blueberry and I have a male going that smells a lot like this HSO BD but stronger.

I can testify to that blueberry hashplant from bodhi. A friend runs that and its really really good. Pure hell fire.

that's a helluva mix, and I 'd love to see the trademark chunky glands from the 88g13/hp coupled with the SCBD

Naw I wish and I should be. I'm from Ohio originally and MI was like home. Have many friends there so will have to see if any of them have your gear.

I'm thinking the same. I'll be looking for a fem Goji to clone, then hit w/ GA 3 to make some fem Gojis and crosses. If I could get Goji buds and BD structure........... :weed:
