blue dream yellowing leaves

Hi,

So I have these blue dream plants that are 5 weeks old now, still in vegetative stage. The pH of the water has been kept between 5.8-6.4 and the temperature has been between 75-80. I have been feeding them 7-9-5 dyna grow formula as well as some aquashield to prevent root rot. A few days ago some of the lower leaves started to yellow and even brown at the edges while the veins remained a healthy green color. Also, the tips started to curl down which I thought might be due to overwatering or poor drainage. Finally, the top leaves have started to fold possibly because they are too close to the lights. I am not sure how to diagnose the yellowing leaves though. Any feedback would be great. Thanks.2013-03-10_11-11-22_560.jpg2013-03-10_11-11-53_976.jpg2013-03-08_13-20-01_810.jpg

Why is the pH swinging so much? Soil grow?I think so keep ph 6.5 or so. Sorry hard to see.

If I was in your shoes from what I read (which sounds like your in a hydro setup) from the description of everything provided so far, looks like nitrogen toxicity. It wouldn't hurt to just to flush out your reservoir and work with fresh water with a half the nutrients you are adding now with and properly ph balanced and see how they respond. You can adjust the lights easily if you see they are two close. Do you see a lot of leaves with the tips turning downward known as the "CLAW" if so good indication not always but generally too much nitrogen.

Thanks for the input. I flushed the system and am still waiting to see if it clears things up. A lot of the leaves are curled downwards but i also noticed that only the older leaves are turning yellow except for the veins and thought nitrogen deficiency might be the problem.
