Hey teflon..here's a couple of recent pics..from seed I am on day 20...these are the 7 BHD If you remember I have 6 Onyx,and 8 Himalayan kush...tell me what ya think. I also have attached some pics some wrinkling on the leaves..can anybody clue me in on what,why and if I should even care or not...I am a vet out door but this indoor stuff is alot more human involvement lol...more chances to f#@k it up

I swear since those last pics these ladies have nearly doubled in size....it's like wait ...wait ..wait .. the BAM they're off lol, I'll keep ya'll posted on these baby blues...they are already putting my carbon filter to good use...wee little buds started showing on a couple of them ...the onyx is a similar cross...taller...basically a white russian( auto-white and AK-47) back crossed with diesel too Ya'll know this stuff I'm sure though so far I am really diggin short stuff seeds and auto's in general. Do ya'll have a particular feeding schedule that works good on these? I am running the Advanced grow-micro-bloom along with nivana ...in a couple of weeks bud blood and bud candy ...to finish with final phase at the end...the bud blood is extremely expensive..like buying narcotics lol,...anything comparable? I am a chemist and really like the contents of this stuff....appreciate the imput ..i'll keep yall posted

I have a slight situation and I am in need of an experienced individual(s) advice. I have fem auto's and some regular(mixed sex non-auto) plants in the same tent...my only tent. I am curious if any of you have tried to sort of "trick" the regulars and get them flowering without diminishing my output of my auto's ...well here is my plan. I have them on a 20-4 schedule right now, I want to bump them up to 24-0 for like a week then drop 6-8 hours off and drop back to maybe 18-6 or so... much like going from 18-6 to 12- 12. Has anyone ever tried this? If so ..or not I just need opinions...if this wont work then I will just veg them for the entire time...and flower them when the autos are done.

I think playing with the light cycle will make them more likely to hermie on you. I would just 12/12 them after the autos are done.

you can probably even switch to 12/12 in the last week or two of the autos life without messing with the yield to much as the buds are already set and in the process of ripening.

i think i might have asked you before, but what do you think the best light cycle is for the autos?

20/4? am i right?

The breeder recommends 20/4. I am just haven't gotten another timer since the last one burnt up. Correction I have another one but you have to a god dam computer programmer to get it working and I worry that it will burn up too.

thanks man, thats what i figured would be best. the timer i use is a GE and its $7 from home depot, its a pin type and i thought it would be junk, but i really like it and it works great. i know its a cheap one and you might use it for HPS lights but great for cfl's.

Sylvania makes a good cheap mechanical timer. It takes up to 15 amps too.

I am looking into getting another 4x4 tent just for the pheno- triggered girls...as I plan to clone a few from my strongest Himalayan kush. Is there a way of determining sex without changing the light cycle...a couple of the HK are showing very similar leaf patterns as the HBD. they are "cousins" and the HBD are fems...jsut curious if ya'll have any tricks I don't know about. Thanks for the solid advice Teflon it's much appreciated...BTW I noticed ya'll rep the eastcoast...I may be living in California(last 3 years) but I was born and raised in Georgia...east coast thru and thru...

Oh and about the timer..i ordered a 8 plug power strip from Amazon...has a built in timer....made for an aquarium but it has a day and night timer...one goes on the other goes off(2 of each)...and 4 constant plugs...for fans and what not...made by Aqua Lite...just FYI way less expensive than anything else I could find($10 w/ free shipping)

I will definitely look into that one adam. As for sexing a plant pre 12/12 look into covering one branch for 12 hours with something like a paper bag. I have read somewhere that the covered branch will flower. I am not sure about the particulars but I have seen it a couple of places online

Its been a week since I last posted pictures, and I feel that its time for an update. They are all starting to fill out nice. The Oldest is at Day 39. Youngest Day 33. Temps average 85F-90F which is why I think its alittle slow to grow. Humidity never gets over 35%. Switched light cycle from 18/6 to 16/8 from here on out.
