Blue Himalaya Diesel

Harvested BHD #3 because all the leaves got burnt off and I needed to make room for a new plant to go into my grow box. It was on Day 67 with 90% amber hairs and 10% white. It could of went another week but it wasnt looking healthy anymore in my opinion so I took it out to test my first batch ever grown indoor. I know I trimmed it like shit but I only had this one stupid big pair of scissors so I couldnt get ever little bit. I bought new scissors so my other two won't look so bad. Its a very light and fluffy bud but I think I might get 3-4 grams from it. My other 2 BHD are still looking great and getting bigger. The tips of the leaves on those two are turning a blueish purple. From the left the 1st 3rd and 4th are Onyx ...2 will hit aroung 1 1/2 to 2 oz's and the 2 bigger ones will be pushing 4 1/2 to 5 easily. My huge Himalayan Blue diesel has without a doubt has 3 oz's. The pictures #2 , 5 and 6 are my HBds the blue leaved one will be stretching to get an oz off which is the #2 it has several branches that look just like the central but it will likely be closer to about 20 grams and I actually have 2 others like it ..the one in the tall ones shadow will maybe get what u are talking about pulling..thats a wimpy yield for sure. my other 3 2 of which are # 5 and 6 will easily get an oz. so it still may be able to get 7 to 8 oz's total. My onyx will clear about 10 oz or so.. will post a video like urs in a week or 2 I am flushing them by just giving plain water. So they will be clean burning and clean taste as well......I am not sure why the colors of the hairs are of any relevance...that is NOT what shows ripeness. When the trichromes get a mushroom head on it and goes from clear to cloudy ..you can get a up kinda high and then when those trichromes begin to change to a redish brown or amber color ...then if they all turn amber then its a plastered kinda stuck on stupid high...like I said before a mixture of what ever ratio you like is fine...but they must be at least cloudy or they are NOT ready ..they have not peaked but once they are completely amber the diminishing of the trich's begin to start ...the haircolor is just a precursor to the trichs changing(not the ripeness) and the calyxes beginning to swell with sweet THC

^^^ Adam, like I said in my post I couldn't tell by the trichs cause my light fell on my plant and burned most everything off..... So checking trichs wasnt an option... In my mind it was a lost cause so I pulled it. I was actually planning on throwing it in the garbage but I gave it a chance.

Day 76. Average Temp 80F. Humidity 30%. Now light schedule is on 12/12 because I will be bringing in my Kandy Kush and Afrodite. Which are not autoflowers and are on Day 18 as of today.

did you do that in a PC casing? They are kinda dainty... If at all possible get urself a 2' x 2 ' tent or a 3 x 3 ..they are really cheap on Amazon..like under $70.00 ( you could have it in the space it takes for a night stand or something)that and the 400HPS u were talking about and man you would have more than what u have now just on just one branch..they do look nice though small but pretty...let me know how the other one smokes that u accidentally sacrificed.

Im actually growing in a custom box I built. Roughly 3'Hx2'Wx1.6'D. About 3 times bigger then a normal pc case. The second picture is an old setup, has been updated since then but looks kinda like that. The top 8 inches of my grow box has all my electrical and venting so i have about 2.4' of grow space height wise. Using 1.5 gallon buckets. I dont like hps in this small box because it will create too much heat.. The whole intention of my grow indoors was NOT to yeild great amounts. It was to see if it was at all possible for me to grow in these conditions in this grow box. I DO NOT GROW TO YEILD POUNDS... I GROW FOR A HOBBY.. AND TO HAVE ALITTLE GOOD GOOD BUD EVERY NOW AND THEN.... Once it gets nice out I will be growing strictly outdoors. Then once winter comes around again im back inside.

Acouple days left then I will be chopping her down.

Dude they are soo small I have already harvested about half of mine. Why are u holding them out so long. These are 8 to 10 from seed...that's 70 days not 12 weeks. They will diminish quickly after ripening. I pulled an oz of my average 2 my tallest is drying and it was about 49 and a half inches and about 56 to 63 grqms..my smallest is finally getting some light so I am hoping to maybe get a 1/4 oz or so...I have one that is like a tower central ..with a 3 bud tip..curly like ...gonna be hell to trim...its got a lot of purple spots...I think I am looking at about.
1/4 pound of my biggest onyx...its still going...the AK and diesel is really coming out...my other onyx has a little over 90 grams total ..it was finished at about 8 1/2 weeks. It was definitely white widow like. Frosty spears...my computer.is down or id have some pics... they are all really dense and dank ..when I was trimming one a piece got chopped owith the trim so I are it...tasted like watermelon jolly rancher..kick ass right...mine have hollow stalks...new one to me but I hear its just a sign of strong genetics

I didn't harvest them because they are not ready. At Day 65 I added 2 more higher powered cfls and then my 2 HBD's starting shooting more white pistals out the top nug so it was clearly still getting bigger so why chop it? Also im going for a couchlock stone and I want most the trichs to be cloudy/ amber. I like the saying " If it looks done, give it 1 more week and its definitly done". Sounds like your grow went well. Post some pictures of the bud when dried out id like to see how it looks.

Yeah I tried to sort of balance the couch lock genetically bred to a more balanced by chopping them all cloudy. The onyx which has a good bit more sativa and says the buzz is "high as a kite" is dead on. I also pulled them all cloudy. The dispensary I am "donating" my "overage" to has a lot of college professors and Santa Barbara business folks that seem to love the sativa kinda get happy and let's do something or have deep discussions buzz. So I am accommodating the "patients" needs. Personally I am also having trouble with the extra 150 a month running this 600 watt HPS 20 hours a day. So I am switching it all to 12/12 for my himalayan kush and royal diesel. The royal diesel seeds came from some bud I got from the dispensary it was harsh and crackling when smoked...guess that why they recruited me. I sure hope you have been flushing...a tablespoon of molasses and plain water for the last 2-4 weeks will make.ur buds sweeter.and cleaner....as long as you completely cut nitrogen from their diet u should be alright. but seriously check out the molasses thing I always did it outdoors in soil and there is a noticeable difference. I will definitely post some pics. The ones I thought were huge kinda tricked me cause the onyx is a little fluffy. I pulled 52 grams from the first one... the huge Hbd I only pulled 37 . It really looked like more. It shadowed so many and caused weak yields on all that were next to it. I am giving these next ones a good bit more room, lesson learned.. I am trying to work it into a perpetual harvest so.its likely I won't be running any more autos until I can get a larger spot. I am in it as a business ya know... it'll be cheaper to run 12/12 and a couple of t5s for veg than running like I have and the yields are bigger to boot. I have been vegging my him.kush for 73 days now. The tallest is bigger than my tallest Hbd and I am just starting flowering..supercropping them to keep them under the light. Cool y'all its about time for my wake and bake everybody go poke some smot yall

BHD #1 Has been Harvested. Looks and Smells amazing. Has a blue tint all over the buds. It is denser then it looks. My BHD #1 was on Day 91 for its final day before the chop. My BHD #2 will be getting chopped within acouple days. Final Weight in and Smoke report to follow.
