Blue Mystic Almost Ready?

Hey guys!
These 3 ladies are 7 weeks into flower today! Any ideas on how long they have left? I know it varies a lot...but strain says 7-9 weeks. Through the 60x mag I can see that about 50% of the trichs are milky and just a few (1-2 out of 20 approx.) here and there are starting to amber.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

I hardly see any amber trichomes. I'm guessing another 1 1/2 - 3 weeks.

Thanks for the feedback! I was thinking that it would be best to let them go for at least another week and keep checking with the micro...

1.5 to 3 weeks is a good estimate. You will get some milky and even amber when its still early as trichomes are produced daily. Nice looking girls.

I look every morning at the trichs...have noticed that most are milky now and there are more and more amber ones popping up (although I can't seem to get them in the pics)...took these this morning:

following...I got one girl on day 50...she is small and hasn't much bud since some c99 stretched like all hell and shaded her..
what day flowering are you on?
how long did you veg?
how tall are the girls?
are you gonna reveg or no?

No problem with the questions! This is my first grow too

This is day 52 since I flipped the lights to 12/12 (I would say day 45 or so since they started showing)
They vegged for exactly 8 weeks and I started LST with them when they were about 4 weeks. They were only about 10"-12" tall but would have been probably 18"-20" had I not LST'd.
During their rapid growth period they grew like crazy. One is 21" another is 19" and the last one (shorty) is only 15" but has the nicest fattest looking buds of all of them.
Haven't decided on the reveg...was thinking about it for the short one because it seems to be the hardiest plant producing the best buds.

I'm growing the BM strain for the first time. Are there any tips you can share? Have you LSTd any of the BM plants? Mine looks just like yours but I'm growing a mother plant so I can keep the strain for a year or so and try a bunch of grow techniques with it - just wondering if you've had any interesting experiences that will help me start off better.

Yes, thanks! It's nice to see her bud structure and that she is indeed quite resilient to training. I've just got one flowering now, most pistils I've ever seen on a plant! It will be fun to mess around w/ this strain. I'll definitely revisit your photos tomorrow when I'm not so damn medicated haha Thanks again +rep

Damn man you didnt hold back with tying that girl down, ive never seen someone lay the whole thing down like that.
You should put something at the bottom of the stem tying it off the opposite way just to make sure you dont pull her out of the ground.

sorry here you go all my plants are spring water from road and fish fertz from salmon,bass,perch, flowering i stopped nitrogen and used ONLY COCONUT WATER WITH A LITTLE MOLASSES FOR A FULL ORGANIC GROW AND HARVEST....... ALSO COLD TEMPS AT NIGHT IN THE MOUNTAINS 40-45% BRINGS THE BLUE OUT WHEN SHE YELLOWS LIKE THAT SHE IS TELLING YOU SHE IS READY TO DIE AND FOR YOU TO HARVEST HER.......

Thanks looks nice! I wish I could get the blues to come out too, but from what I have heard you have to have the cooler temperatures. I'm growing inside with CFL's and my temps run pretty warm - 77 lights on and 68 lights off. Living in south FL makes it almost impossible to get lower temps

So they were ready imo. (Only see a couple clear trichs here and there, all milky and a few amber)

I'm guessing I will have 3-4 oz after its dried...smells like fresh squeezed limes or something citrus...

Can't wait to try it out!!!

Almost every plant I've ever run takes 70+ days for the effects I desire.
Even on strains claimed to be finished in 55-60 days.

From the looks of the trimmed wet buds on that plate I'd guess closer to 1-2 oz.
I'd have left it for ~10 days longer but it's your buds.

I'm sure it will still be better than anything you can buy off the street IF you dry/cure it properly.

I just started my 4th perpetual blue mystic grow..so, i have quite a bit of experience with this strain. Take them all the way to 10 weeks for the best results.

I have done BM a few times.. There is something VERY important to watch out for. About 1 in 10 females will be the BlueBerry Muffin pheno.. It is still to this date the finest smelling cannabis I have ever grown. It smelled EXACTLY like a blueberry muffin, the taste was very berry-like and sweet. Sadly, most of the BM you get will look more like Northern Lights or a slightly sweeter version of NL.

Any clues to what the "Blueberry Muffin" pheno looks like? I've got three BMs right now. The first is 3' tall w/ crazy branches all shooting upwards, like a really ugly xmas tree. The second is extremely well-spaced, round, 1.5 feet, it looks like a manicured bush; almost too nice looking. The third is 1 foot tall, with one big cola, like a northern lights plant. I'm starting to love this strain; it knocks me out and makes my back feel pretty darn good.

I decided to mother-up the second plant; so hopefully that was the right choice!

Mother all of them just in case.. I heard of people getting like 10 packs of seeds and growing all of them to find the BlueBerry Muffin pheno, it really is something special.! I am growing a BM (BBM pheno) x Nevilles haze hybrid now, need more time to know how it will turn out.

I kick myself for losing the clone, I was not an exp grower at the time.. As I recall, it looked more like a blueberry x skunk hybrid but it was SUPER sweet and no gassy skunk smell at all. I got 3 phenos, the most common was the NL pheno. It was slightly berry, giant flowers, and great resin. It grew like NL, fat and round flowers. The second most common pheno was the actual BlueBerry pheno, this was smaller and dense purple nugs, sweet/earthy smell, and a stronger blueberry taste. The least common pheno was the BBM and it grew lighter and fluffier, longer flowers which looked more skunk but didnt smell skunky, it smelled liked the sweetest BlueBerry smell ever!.. My g/f at the time didn't smoke cannabis and hated it but she took one smell of the BBM pheno and her eyes got big, looked at me, and she said, "MMMMMM".... ..I know she wanted a toke after that.. lol.. she chickened out later..

Moral of the story, most will be the large NL type flowers but a little sweeter. I think Mau from Nirvana used a BlueBerry clone(FEM) and also used a NL male as well as a SK#1 male, as well as a Purple Kush male. Blue "Mystic".. go figure.. ....Keep your eye out for the BBM pheno, it`s insanely sweet!
