I'm a little bummed out...my 2000watt grow will be downsized to a 1000watt grow. :(

I do not have enough juice going to my grow space. So to avoid any unnecessary risk. 1000 we shall run until spring.

On a good note...

I'm blessed to have great friends. One of which is an electrician. :)


Also ... I just ordered the Solis tek LCD MATRIX Ballast w/remote. I'll be running this with a huge Raptor hood and a hortilux 1000w hps bulb.

I've waited this long... I might as well go 5 weeks veg. The pro`s out weigh the cons of waiting. So...another boring veg pic.

Bucket change.
Last week- started ppm at 1100.

Low 800's before today's nute change.

Today:: ppm 1200 ( this might be a bit hot)))

I reduced the cal mag and added pro tekt. Ill run this from now until it runs out.lol. it should last thru 2 weeks of flowering.

This hood is big and heavy. I would advise against hanging this one in a tent.

A little improv was needed.
2 half inch slits in the roof and secured with heavy eyehooks to the ceiling of the room.

The eyehooks are above the tent which will give me the maximum height from the glass to the floor of a little less than 6 feet. It should allow for a decent footprint with this hood.

The plants look happy at 1200 ppm`s

This Raptor hood runs much cooler than my cool tube. I'd say 5-8 degrees cooler.

For my first dwc (last year) i picked up a 1000watt virtual sun hood kit with the cool tube. The kit included the hood, ballast, a plastic timer, some cheap yo yo`s and 1 mh and 1 hps no name bulbs.
I picked up the Raptor hood about 2 weeks into flower and used the no name bulb.
I ran this setup with pretty good results. 1.685 lbs. of some very good meds From 3 plants.
I'm not expecting to match or better my gross this time around due to the strains I'm running but the quality should surpass my previous run.

It is kind of funny that my friends know I can get kick ass weed but non of them have any idea I grow it.

Your plants look great m8, really healthy..... I might be biased but your train wreck looks awesome my favourite.... I am actually itching for you to switch to 12/12 now Fuc nos how your feeling playing the waiting game .... Oh well stay strong bro only 4 more days :)

I'm with you on the TW. With its history I'm not gonna hold my breath.

Everything is perfect in the tent and inside the buckets.
He did say about 2 weeks b-4 harvest!!?

We'll see.

Thanks man! It's a bitch when something goes right ( knock on wood) and you can't even share it with friends lol. Only 3 people know I grow and 2 of them have commercial gardens going with a huge selection.
Getting different genetics is no problem ha. They have a couple strains they've been running for well over 10 years. They got test results of 26% on one of those strains just last week and a huge yield as well.

Now I'm rambling ....

I talked with my friend about this tw phenotype ...

He says..." it won't stretch much but she will get real heavy and topple over on ya a few times" he's been running this one for a couple years. I do see the similarities in our pics. Who knows? Sure is a pretty looking plant though.

Yea our leaves are near the same shade of green and look kinda the same shape but your leaves are a bit more serrated ..... They will be related somewhere along the way I would say :)
