is it the first set of leaves!!! if so they are suppose to die and fall off those arent fan leaves

they are the sprout leaves and once the first set of true fan leafs come out they usually yellow off and die!
Why are you yelling at me?
Thought your lazy avatar would mean you were chill all the time.
Lol joking with you bro.
I know alot about growing,
its no the little ones.

Lemme show you a diagram in words of what i mean..

Single bladed leafs - Cutted them off
3 Bladed Leafs - Cutted them off
5 Bladed leafs - Their getting the same symptoms as the single and 3 bladed ones.
Thats why i cutted those off.
But im just going to leave it.
Thanks for answering me though. peace.

Yo yo yo... I don't usually worry about singled out leaves that do that, especially the lower ones. I've always kinda used them as a 'buffer' or 'signal' to what's heading up the stem. If you have a nute deficiency or excession, those leaves will warn you before it hits the rest of the plant above it. Depending on how far into flowering you are, you most likely don't need to worry about it - if your whole plant is looking like that and you're only like a few weeks into flower - well then it may need some special attention. I've found that with soil growing, you can even have small parts of the plant react differently to the amounts of food it gets. My girls are not looking nearly as 'sexy' as they were even 2 weeks ago at this point - they're busy panicking to give a last ditch effort to pollinate, and as they do that they take whatever they can from the leaves... yellow, crusty, rusty spots, curlyness...it's just how they die off and finish. =) Hope that helps!

Hey, Dayzt! your plants look good so far! I will be watching your grow, as well!
Thanks MsB! My KK seedling is now starting to look better as well. It's side-by-side with the additional Blue Venom seed I put in not too long ago to bring my plant total for this grow up to 7 plants. I'm thinking this will be one of my last soil grows as I'm leaning more and more towards going hydro so I don't have to mess with dirt anymore, but we'll see. I've only ever used soil, so it will be good to be able to compare the taste of the final product and decide if it's worth the hassle of using soil or not. Time will tell. Thanks for stopping in!

nice dude thinking about going hydro, i love dirt myself, but if i ever had the time and money i would do a nice hydro set-up.

What type of hydro set-up were you thinking??

I've already bought a single 'Waterfarm' and will get it started once my pH/PPM meters arrive in the mail. I was COMPLETELY inspired by this Pineapple Express thread (see below link) where the grower was able to get over 10 oz from one plant in a Waterfarm under only a 400w light... I think I'll eventually make myself a screen as well to match his method - we'll see. Down the road I may expand it to the complete kit (see second link below) with the seperate reservoir and control unit as well...here's to hopin! =)

Here's a pic update - I need to recalculate my official start date because although these are at 2 weeks and 3 days, that includes the time it took to germinate because I germinated right in the soil this time...

Anyways... here's the pics - enjoy! The Rocklock is the back left brown pot with the staple on the rim. The new seedling on the far left is the newest BV and the newest seedling on the right is the Kandy Kush. The rest are all Blue Venom! :leaf:

They seems to really like the pH'd water I'm giving them this time - last grow with the Acapulco Gold, they were a bit yellowy and starting to get spotty at this point...all nice a green this time!

usually they start to yellow up around this stage, just due to lack of nutrients.

They will stay green as long as the water is PH and have a little food to survive starting off weak and building strong.

Well, these plants are now at 3 weeks and 3 days... planning to do a picture update soon - stay tuned!

nice mine are at 3 weeks and 1 day! would love to compare!
Won't be much of a comaprison unfortunately. =) Mine were started from seed so they're only about 4-5 inches tall and few of them are only about 2 weeks old. It's quite a difference from the last picture update though.

Here's a pic update - my veg time is all messed up now since I germed in the soil this time around...ah well, I'm not going to worry about it and just play it by ear. I'm waiting a little longer this time before doing any LST on these - give them a bit more time to get bigger and stronger before the 'bend'.

Wow, sorry for the lack of updates here!! I'll try to get some more pics up soon - I lost the RockLock plant due to it being a boy, with no sign of it being a hermie at all... I guess those freebies weren't 'all' feminized...at least I didn't any hairs on it at all!

The Kandy Kush took off and is the tallest of them all - quite alot of stretching in the first few weeks of flower so we'll see how she pans out. The 5 Blue Venom plants are looking okay - 1 of them is twice the size of the others, but overall I think I'm looking at less than a zip per plant...still plenty for what we smoke personally - enough to last until the next harvest at least! Next grow will likely start in the next few weeks - got my Tangerine Dream seeds and almost ready to start my waterfarm!!

Cheers all - look for some pics here in the next while.

Well, here we are a few weeks into flowering (I honestly lost track of what date I ended up flipping the lights to 12/12) and things aren't looking half bad. The Blue Venom plants appear to love the nutes they received last feeding and are looking very, very healthy. The Kandy Kush (in the first pic below) stretched quite a lot and has forced me to raise the light quite a bit but it looks like it's going to settle down now and start filling out more. By comparing the way things look right now, it's looking like the Blue Venom will turn out really well - I'll have to watch them closely and give them what they need to get big since I didn't LST them at all this round.

Any and all feedback is welcome - enjoy the pics!!!! :leaf:
