For those that don't know from another post. I'm trying an experiment by drying out one of my Wedding Cake Autoflowers by leaving it in the pot it grew in and not watering anymore. I did move it out of my tent to a cooler location. I left it in the upright position.

I tested my current drying project today using a wood moisture meter.

The very top bud is at 18.5% moisture. When the buds get to 10% - 12% moisture content I'll trim off those buds and start their curing process.

I'm thinking the highest buds will dry out first.

was that the case? I was thinking the opposite, 1 big buds at top hold more water with less airflow to the center and 2 plants pull water from thier roots to the top of the plant
Yeah, I’m intrigued by this experiment. Curious to see how the plant responds.
