Thank you. I noticed when you showed pics of your harvest some buds were cut clean while what appears to be the main colas had the sugar leaves. At least that is what I think they are called. Is there a reason for that? From what I read I thought they were cut off too. Saved but cut.

Do you hang dry or did you let them dry on the bag? I hung mine and at night covered them in a bag.

Because they are in jars do you "cure" them. If so how? What humidity level do you strive for?.

By the way very impressive. Great grow.

I strip off the largest fan leaves by hand and discard them. I trim off the smaller fan leaves if they have little to no trich coverage and discard them. Some leaves I will trim off the outer part that has no trichs and keep the inner part that does. Finally there are those that I leave intact because they are fully covered in trichs.

I do this as a preference. I use the small popcorn buds and sugar trim to make a glycerine decoction and decided that I prefer the results when I leave out anything that doesn't have trichs on it.

I have a tiered drying rack. I place the bud inside a paper shopping bag with the front of the bag closed while the rest of the bag is expanded. The rack is in a larger room with a humidifier keeping relative humidity at 50-55%, temps 70-75. The bud is ready for final trim at 5-7 days.

Yes. I'll check on the jars daily until they have reached a certain point. I judge the finish by observation: aroma, weight, feel of the bud, and how much the buds stick together when rotating the jar. I go without any measuring devices inside the jar. Just sort of know when it's done. Then I'll leave it until patients need it. Maybe pop the jars every now and then to see how the smell is changing and progressing.

Yes, one quart. I try to keep them only half full for curing, which is an about an oz per jar. Once it's finished I'll fill them full.
