Blumats. Who's using them?

Nope. I run promix. 7 gal coco pot would be kinda a waste I would think. Honestly I didn't have any issues up until yesterday and it could be because I added a bloom booster to the res. Before I was just hand watering in the additives. (B1, bloom boost and agave nectar, Hygrozyme, and microbial mass.) And if it happens again I'll just switch to what I use for everything else and that is maxibloom/koolbloom powder. I run a uv sterilizer light inside the res so the bacteria doesn't bloom and make it cloudy and chunky.

And yes I know I don't need those additives I'm simply using them up to get some shelf space back. (Well minus the hygrozyme and microbial mass)
I was using hyclean to keep the drippers clean but some said it's not necessary so I stopped but added it again on last night's top up.
It's hard to say exactly what happened. Everything was fine then I changed a couple things
Put on filters
Added bloom boost to res.
Either one of these or both could be the factor(s) causing the clog. I haven't figured it out yet but I'm leaning towards just simply not having filters on and getting gummed up over time from using nutes that bunged up. t's just weird that I put on the filters then suddenly within days 5 weren't watering like they were before. After taking one apart cleaning and reinstalling I can see the drips were much better so I did the rest. Ouch my back

I’m thinking of using them in promix.
Want to do a sog in 1 gal, but I don’t want to have to keep up w the hand watering.
Ive got salt/powder type nutes I use.
Will that work?

Should yep.
What nutes?
As stated before GENERALLY as long as it mixes clean and clear you're good. Anything organic or that causes the water to get cloudy will likely bung you up over time
Like I said I had to switch over calmag bottles to gh brand and that stopped the cloudy water.

The important part is that we learn from our mistakes and try not to repeat. Lol
I'm always running every scenario through my mind and then verifying if it's plausible or not then inspecting my system to find faults. That's how I noticed the dry ish pots.

I actually thought about the orientation of the filters. If you see the pic I put up the cup is on the bottom, which is wrong (I think) I believe it caused air to get into the lines. Reason being is the inlet and outlet are where the black casing is, and by putting the filter upside down it was sucking air trapped in the filter into the line before creating enough pressure (if even able to) to pull the water level in the filter to the outlet. Which I think compounded the already semi caked up drippers from not having a filter in the first place and using the wrong calmag. There's a few scenarios I'm running through to try to find the source of the issue. If I can't I'll just take the drippers off and run just the 3mm line to the other side of the pot and/or switch to maxibloom and/or take the filters off or move them to the bottom of the system. Learning curve. I'm sure it would be easier with dry amendments and just water in the res.

I have some drippers but never used them, I heard they clogged sometimes and mine have worked great with 1 carrot per pot with just the one drip point so I never even bothered to try them out.

Here's a little update. Week 2 of 12/12
Seems like the dry issue has been resolved for now at least. Plants are loving life, slowly lollipopping and defoliating the bottoms as much as my back allows me to.

Heres a grape walker kush mephisto genetics on blumats with maxibloom in the mom tent

I was planning on trying out Blumats with Jacks321 on my next grow. I also have Maxibloom on hand. I have straight coco or Promix HP as my medium choices. My pot choices are 3/5 gal Rain Science bags, 5/7 gal plastic pots, or 3/5/7 gal fabric pots. Does anyone have any suggestions which combination would be best. I'll be growing indoors in a 3x3 tent. During winter my RH indoors is usually 40-55%. Sometimes my humidifier can keep up, sometimes it runs 24/7 barely hitting 45%.

I think that's grower preference. If you're using coco you can get away with smaller pots as to my understanding. Promix you should run bigger pots. Ive done 9 plants in a 3x3 with a short veg in 3gal promix. Depends how many plants you wanna grow.

Was planning on doing 1 photo scrogged. I can't remember where but I remember seeing a thread here in RIU where ppl were discussing how plastic pots prevented salt buildup just from the fact that the medium didn't dry out quickly at the edges compared to fabric. I figured using Blumats might keep the medium's moisture in the sweet-spot better in one vs the other.

I went for it and got the 12 trof blumats setup.

First flood out of the way. Lol
My Rubbermaid tote has dimples from being made that can lead to a crack/leak at each corner.
It was a slow leak I didn’t notice untill after I filled the res.
First thought, a shutoff would be nice.
I’m in a garden shed so no big deal, I drilled a hole in the floor and drained away.
New tote, good to go.
It’s been 2 days and they are starting to drink.
I’m on runoff high alert.

I’m happy with it atm, so I’d like to say thank you for this thread. Lots of great info and people it seems.
