Blunt's Mysteriously Magical Mix... Or not.

Hi All

So I was rooting out some old stuff from my closet today and came across this ....


For all you young padiwans out there that is a container used to hold a 35mm camera film. In the days before digital cameras. Ask your folks, they will tell ya.

So when I opened it up I found these


See anything interesting in there? I do. Yep. There are a bunch of beans amongst the beads.



Here they are. 14 of them and they look pretty good. I say look pretty good because these seeds have been in the container for over a decade. I completely forgot they were there and for the life of me I cannot remember where they came from. They could be from some local African weed or I could have gotten them in the uk when I used to live there.

So what should I do?

So it looks like I will be germinating these suckers then... thanks to me for voting for myself to germinate... heh heh heh

I will be putting my cinnamon scrog DWC onto 12/12 in 2-3 weeks time so I will look at germinating half of these seeds and put them onto 12/12 at the same time... I will keep the other half of the seeds for some future fun....

So these are old seeds so any tricks or tips to help the germinate??? I will put a few straight into soil, I will put a few onto wet towels, a few will be soaked in distilled water... I will scuff all of them beforehand..... a few I will look at filing down the leading edges slightly.... will be good to see which (if any) will work to get these seeds going......
