Bolting/Shooting? How to stop this?

if I could suggest something, when has the sun ever hit a plant from the bottom? take that light off the bottom and increase the light from the top for the parasol leaves. you are going to cause problems shining light up under a plant it will confuse the heck out of it

Ahh yeah it was a new shoot growth but it became apparent today it was a herm! There was little balls developing at every node and only a few female pistols and only at the top of the plant but after lookin at the pics zoomed they were definately balls.

Speak from experience please. The reason i know you havnt done this is because it maximises the % of light in the grow space. Never seen anybody grow with a HPS and MH and the MH below the plants? Some advanced growers swear by it for flowering

Just got 3 hermies myself... popped sacks too. hopefully the pollen isn't viable. 3 hermies though from one strain.

Yeah lucky man i was debatin for ages wether they were undeveloped growth shoots like u say but they just became more spherical every day and with a zoomed in hd pic they look much much more ballish than the other female preflower/groshoots.. Females have more pointed little undeveloped growth shoots and normally hav a tiny hair poppin out in. Herms are really rounded.

The bitch ass Reason herms are so hard to tell is because the seed has a leaf round it which looks nearly identical to an early female preflower growth shoot such a bitch man, i was dreading it for ages thinking it was just female and i was paranoid but then they became quite apparent without actually developing, but to compare next to a fem just said it all and i wasnt gonna waste anymore time or light lol, it only had 3-4 pistols pretty masculine for a bitch

yeah those hermies are hard to see. So many times i've thought hermie and it just turns out to be a new shoot pod or maybe just a strange shaped calyx even. i got 3 out of 7 females. The Lambsbreath x BC BigBud strain.

Not sure if they've pollinated anything yet, but there are open balls... and the only reason i noticed them was because as i took one of the plants out to take a pic some pollen landed on my hand. Here's a couple pix:
