I actually accidentally posted this in the grow room forums lol. I don't know where else to post this so sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place!
Hey everyone, i just joined today because i needed some info on bongs. This will seem like a broad question but can anyone just tell me everything about bongs? Like what does a perculator do? Is there different types of perculators? Does length matter? How to take good care of it? How to clean it? I started smoking last summer and i haven't learned much about pieces and how they work. Or much about weed either. (lol, i guess i cared about smoking it more than actually about it). So can i get some help friends?

from What I understand a perc is another compartment that cools and filters the smoke and it helps to make your hit smoother. There's quite a few kinds that change the way it does this but it's the same idea. There are trees, sprinklers, gridded inline, matrix, honeycomb, dome, showerhead, cyclone, reti, Swiss, circle, and helix. (Probably more ). Its more of a preference thing in my opinion though about what works better. Cleaning is the same as with a bong. Personally, I would recommend organic cleaner or hot water though because salt and iso alcohol cause the glass to get a film.
