Bong rips tastes like SALT!!

I put some warm water and salt in my illadelph hoping to get her clean. I read that using salt and water would help clean when shaken. I have rinsed out a hundred times shaken for 10 minutes straight. Even made a coat hanger with a rag on it to scrape off resin built on the walls of bong. The bongs is pretty much clean but when u take a rip you throat burns of salt and cough like crazy. You can smell the salty bong water from above the bong. soo nastyy I need to fix my bong

If anyone knows what i can do please help!!

Yes you need to use isopropyl alcohol, I like the 91% myself

I'd just hit up your local headshop and pick up a good cleaner. Ask the guy if he can suggest one that doesn't taste bad afterwards. I find that bong rips always taste like the cleaner used for a little bit after cleaning no matter how hard you wash it afterwards.

Yeah great advice, go get some over priced cleaner that will do just as good of a job as alcohol and salt... only at double the cost
