Bonide Copper Fungicide

I used it to get rid of PM on some plants I got off my buddy a few years ago now and it only took one application. I believe I used 5ml/L of Rhino Skin but I have a bottle of plain silicate that's 4X as strong so would have to cut way back using that. Doesn't leave much of a residue like the baking soda some people use and also has a higher pH which seems to really kill PM and other fungal problems.

Using copper doesn't appeal much to me and pot is susceptible to copper overdose too. As are people and other mammals.

I had a few spots of PM on my squash plants in the garden. Sprayed a potassium silicate/sesame oil solution and haven't seen any symptoms since. $15 a pound for potassium silicate and $7 for 11 oz of pure sesame oil. The sesame oil is used as a natural insecticide as well as controlling the PM. I can make 60 gallons with one bottle of sesame oil but I have it in the cupboard for cooking. Another benefit is that while acting as a very effective insecticide the sesame oil is bee safe which might be of value to outdoor growers concerned about the environment and all the other members of the ecosystem that keep things going.

I wouldn't use the sesame oil during flower but during veg it's very effective as a preventative for mites and other bad bugs. I'm switching over to sesame oil instead of neem since it's just as if not more effective. Since I use it to cook with I always have it on hand and neem will be one less thing to buy.

I refuse to buy any of the commercial products. I can make my own organic fungicide/insecticide that's just as effective as anything on the market for pennies on the dollar. When I say "on the market" I'm referring to organic solutions that any responsible individual should be using. There are products/poison that are more effective but I would never use any of those.

I use the Safer's End All insecticial soap and add 1ml/L canola or neem oil to it when I mix it up from concentrate. Just finished a run of 4 sprays to get rid of thrips and haven't been able to find one the last 5 days so should be good to go.

I've used potassium silicate to get rid of PM too. No oil but it worked like a charm. Just one application and it was all around the base of the plant too.
