plants are always cool man! this looks like a nice regular lst training to me, looking nice and healthy.

a side question, did u make that grow bag pot yourself or if not, where to get one?

keep it up man...:peace:

Very nice, I especially like 2nd row 2nd from the right. Bonsai MJ plants. I have bonsai many plants and trees, but never MJ, going to have to give it a try. What is the age. Need to keep in constant veg though.

Having also grown various bonzai for 30 years, it did help me to understand the basics with growing weed. BUT....pruning mj is somewhat counter-productive as you're not allowing the plant to use it's method of sucking up "grow energy"...which is why bonzai stay bonsai.....

yeeeaaaa i know there not really bonzia.... but they look cool, lets see some crazy looking personal plants on here guys!

One of the plants looks just like a DNA Genetics Cole Train I did a few months ago. Kinda bluish and dark rounded leaves but with lighter yellow centers.

I have some bonsais I can toss pictures of up tomorrow.

more pics of my babes

ahh im sooo glad you all asked!!! very very interesting experiment i have done, and still am studying today!

i cut off the lower nodes to promote upper node/bud growth, i have done experiments with this and it helps sooo much to cut out those little (sucker) nodes that arent going to be getting much light below the canopy. they quite literally suck the energy from the plant that could be used to help out those bigger nodes closer to the light/sun.

ive also been doing experiments by cutting the node and leaving the fan leaf intact/ also cutting the fan leaf and leaving the node intact.

one plant i started i cut one fan leaf off of one side of a node, and holy shit the node with the fan leaf intact by the end of the grow was at least double the size of the other node without the fan leaf intanct.

one time i had two plants of the same strain, the one plant i cut off all of the sucker nodes/the other i cut off JUST the nodes leaving all of the fan leaves. at harvest time the plant without any nodes or fan leaves had buds at least 25% bigger.

the only thing i can come up with so far in my experimenting is that not only do fan leaves gather energy for the plant, they also use energy to stay alive... if the plant can bypass that node bringing food'n micros up to the top of the plant.. to me it seems that without the fan leaf or node the energy can bypass that section and go to more productive growing sites on the plant.

it seemed to me like the plant with all the fan leaves intact was trying harder to keep those fan leaves alive/ when i personally would rather have that energy spent on other plant parts.

now the plant i cut the fan leaf off one node, and left the other alone. i think that if you cut the fan leaf without cutting the node you are going to decrease the amount of energy that budsight will be able to get, it will only be able to gather energy from the leafs the flowers create.

remember everything i say is not based on fact, just personal experimentation and experience... word up

heres a couple more pics of some silly experimenting i have going on, why would anyone do this you ask? ALL IN THE NAME OF SCIENCE!! AAEEHAHAHA!!

it was a nice dark green color before i cut the nodes... im thinking that having all of those nodes meant it needed a lot more nutrients, when i cut them all off it still has all this food it hasnt used yet, and now only has 3tops to give food to. it might be overfed a little, but ill find out in a week or so after i water her again

Mine are in dire need of some attention. I need to thin them out a little. Top a couple branches. Then LST some stuff.

I took those cuttings around the beginning of the year. They are probably close to 90 or 100 days old.

They were taken from flowering plants, so they are Monster Cropped as a result. The rooting period took a long time and I selected only the strongest of about 12 clones as keepers.

They have been on 18/6 lighting using about 200w or so of Daylight spectrum lighting. I pay nearly no attention to them. Water maybe once every 3 days or so, they usually need it bad (like they did today). I've defoliated twice and topped maybe 3 or 4 times. Most have had one form of LST or Super Cropping or another.

The plan is to keep them short and bushy for another 45 days or so. Then I'll toss the Mutant Sensi Star (first individual plant I show) under a 400w MH to fill it out. Take about 30 cuttings from it somewhere around May 20th and that will be my next grow. Then I'll take her back in with the other Bonzai's and keep her small until I need her again. Might run a few more Bonsai Sensi Stars... Not sure yet.

Really fun to do though.

Very nice. It's so nice to see pics of super healthy plants.

I'm digging all the experiments as well. Set up some controls and catalog your findings with pics and observations. It'll be fact before you know it :)
