Starting my first grow. And my first grow journal. Love the community, would love any support. Here's the specs for Operation Grow Weed in a Bookcase (tm):
Strain: Aurora Indica (Fem) from Nirvana x 2.
Dimensions: 28" x 18" x 72". Located Behind my bookcase.
Medium: Organic Choice Soil, various guanos (odd looking plural), worm casting, perilite/vermiculite.
Water: PH between 5.5-6.5
Propagation: Rockwool cubes
Age from sprout: 3 days
Ventilation: In progress, temps stay between 75-85 so I'm not too worried...yet.
Lights: Strictly CFL, as of now I have 2 x 27W 6500K
Grower: poor as fuck, had to construct entire op out of ready made products. Prone to ineptitude.
I will also be using a PC, (the thing w/ the hooka on top) to grow two additional plants. This will be dubbed Operation Grow Weed in a PC Case Near to the Bookcase.
I have built an addition onto the back of my bookcase as well as a tower pc case (too lazy to measure dimensions, but it is larger than an average tower.) The two sprouts are inside of the bookcase running on a 18/6. I plan to transplant them in a few days into the already prepared soil containers. The idea is to keep these bushy indicas small, given the grow space isn't that expansive. I've been keeping the PH levels between 5.5 and 6.5, and watering only to ensure moistness. Not really sure what else needs to be done
. If anyone has any tips on:
a) the soon to come ventilation
b) the set-up in general
c) you tell me
