I've been going through the books at the river house. Lots of non-fiction including a few good histories. Mostly WWII and/or aviation. The Col {who's house we bought} was a fighter pilot in that war. When I get old and gray, I hope to have time to read them.
If you liked that one you'll love Quantum Mechanics by Paul Dirac.

Looks like originally the book started out with a Russki as the adversary, then he changed it after collapse of the Soviet Union to Woo Woo. Still, eerily prescient
