"Bull Cook" wow, that's a memory. I dogeared the shit out of his catalog(s). Couldn't wait for the new one to arrive. Remember how EVERYTHING in the catalog was the best in the world? He reportedly wrote all the copy, stories (sometimes long winded) and anecdotes himself. Damn, now I'm going to go on Ebay and order one ;)

"The Duke of Caladan" by Brian Herbert and Kevin Sanderson, one of the books that fills in holes before the events of "Dune"....actually, it's ok, but not great. i think they're overextending themselves. Frank wrote 6 books, his son and kevin sanderson have written 13 or 14....
the house books and the school books were good, the butlerian jihad trio were good...the rest are kind of meh

Dune was an amazing read brilliant set of books.

It was prob about 15 years ago but I read a bio about 50 Cent. It was actually pretty good. I remember reading it on lunch at work it was so good. Just a look into his early life. It's called, From Pieces to Weight: Once Upon a Time in Southside Queens.

I also read about the same time, E.A.R.L.: The Autobiography of DMX, While it was good as well, it wasn't as good as 50s.
