I have been reading Cormac McCarthy since the 70s. He is a poetic genius. I suggest you jump in feet first and read Blood Meridian. It's truly a masterpiece. Brutal, brooding, surreal, majestic, mesmerising. I read Suttree first, then went backward to read his earliest works. Then forward again.I never knew of Cormac McCarthy until he passed away a few weeks ago. Now I'm hooked,
"The Passenger". Intriguing book. His scenic descriptions are poetic. You can smell and feel the scenes he describes. Fortunately for fans the 2nd part of the series, "Stella Maris" was released this year before he passed. I'm on that now. I will probably go on to his Pulitzer-prize winning "The Road" after this.

Hands down, one of the best books I've ever read/listened to.Never split the difference : negotiating as if your life depended on it / Chris Voss with Tahl Raz.
Been waiting for this book. Stewart Copeland, along with Mitch Mitchell and Ginger Baker, are probably the most three powerful, muscular drummers in rock and roll. Sting joined _his_ group and then they got Andy Summers to join 'em.One of the non Sting Police put out his memoir, Stewart Copeland's Police Diaries this week. He was on Que a couple three nights ago. Lots of early Police stuff I didn't know about.
Not Que, but still relevant, only shorter.
