Look back far enough you will find my 4 lighter from 4 or 5 years ago when I first started growing.. I hit 11.5 off of 4 lights. Assume 5 years later I am doing better lol . The quality was not 10\10 then. It was my 4th batch ever growing

With both LECs in the 5x5 I've got heat issues. I kind of expected that, I shouldn't have bought this vortex 6 inch, luckily I am able to buy more stuff, as long as I have a use for it (and I've got a friend that wants the six inch for his 4x8).

So I guess I gotta get an 8 inch. I don't like the wattage on the vortex however. 66 watts and 347 cfm on the six inch vs 232 watts and 728 cfm on the eight inch. The phresh hyper fan looks awesome, built in speed control that appears to actually work, 710 cfm, and only 70 watts, if what I'm seeing is to be believed. In a review I just watched it was actually pulling 85 watts but that's still so much less. I'm nearing my maximum wattage for my current setup until I can get a mortgage,

questions-
(again) Can I plug my t5s into the daisy chain feature on my area 51 LEDs? If I buy some of the new a51 cob fixtures can I daisy chain those into my RW-75s?
@Eraserhead could you help me out with the above question?
Can I take the 6" flange off of my carbon filter and attach an 8" flange?
Should I get a new filter? the one I'm using is a can 66 that has been used for one cycle, attached to a 350 cfm fan.

Okay now I'm finally set up with what I dub the Mercedes-Benz of personal consumption. One day I'll get cameras and sensors inside the tent I can check on my phone, experiment with hydro, put 90 watt cobs in to replace the t5s, and call it a porsche.
Turned off the 4 tube t5 fixture, My one plant in veg (actually reveg) is doing fine with the a51s and 2 t5 bulbs.


2x LEC 315- 630 watts
2x RW-75 in veg mode- 100 watts
2 foot 2 tube t5 fixture- 48 watts
veg tent oscillating fan- 30 watts max
veg tent inline fan (6 inch vortex s line)- 66 watts
flower tent oscillating fan #1- 40 watts
flower tent oscillating fan #2- 30 watts
flower tent extra fan- 20 watts
flower tent inline fan- 75 watts

That puts me at 1039 watts. This is my bedroom, and on a 15 amp circuit, so-
computer + monitor right now- 90-100 watts
lighting on the circuit (my bedroom and bathroom ceiling lights and bathroom fan)- ~150 watts

So I'm at 1289 on a 15 amp circuit, or about 10.75 amps. I'm gonna be getting a new computer as soon as I have some time to spend on newegg, so I'm absolutely at the limit. Wish me luck!

CMH is for suckers, Hortilux BLUE is where its at. (basically a halide on crack lol) all bullshit aside though, as someone who owns cmh/mh/hb/shps i can say no halide will yield like a shps especially a DE HPS. I have 3 cmh bulbs still, they are all blown and it took 2 bulbs alone to make it through 5 months veg+flower. What an investment for only 28 ounces..while the bud was certainly tasty,potent and smelly, it was also airy and lower buds especially. My last run with the hortilux shps returned 40 ounces to compare with the cmh. The buds are also dense as fuck too

Wow, I'm curious, What exact CMH bulbs are/were you using? I've thought about those super blue lights before. People say you wait a while for the plants to finish but when they do it's awesome. All of my buds have been super dense-harder than a priest in a playground. I have to use a grinder for every bowl,

And I'm scrolling through your posts and I can't find any pics you've uploaded, just a short mention of outdoor, which makes sense to me, since you're in southern california and full of shit, you're probably the guy who grew the last weed I got from california 4 years ago. X2 GE400's in sunsystem 6" sealed hoods without glass and 12 40watt cfl's. Then i swapped one halide kit with a 400 hps. Then moved along to hortilux, put my old shit in storage and started using the hortilux blue for vegging and the 1000watt superhps for flower. It finishes faster,more dense,more buds especially from lower branches but its hotter and quality does seem to go down without UV-B

you should really look at these new 315 watt bulbs from philips. They're different. look up elite agro 930

I appreciate it. I do ask that you take everything on the thread with a grain of salt. As these grows were a couple years ago..Always in the 2 range but when I first started growing. I believe one of them was 11.5 off 4k watts that I posted.. Quality is up ALOT from then and yields are more consistent . But the numbers are around the same.. I am using coco now, before I was using peat. I am growing at least half my rooms with ogs.. Before it was mostly heavy yielding sativas. I have only gotten UNDER 2 pounds per light.. 3 times.. And these were 3 very heavy learning curves. I believe if you run a 5x5 spread and pack your plants .. It is not very difficult to get in the 2pound area.. A lot of growers are getting 3-4+ per light.

I am computer retarded . If I could find a way to upload shit and delete the exif I would gladly share any pictures you guys want. This run I have going now will be the closest I've ever got to 3+ per light .. I will be very surprised if I don't get the 3 number.. So I know you guys want to see pics since most of you think I'm full of shit
