Bored. So bud porn...

Just a couple of bud shots because why not. Its just now beginning to get interesting. I expect them to start fattening up any day now.

All three plants at 7 weeks of 12/12. DWC setup under 500w (true watts) of blurple (yep...lol) leds in a 4x4 tent.

Zkittlez - Fantastic terps. Smells dank as furk with a real nice artificial grape smell.


Grandaddy Purple - Biggest buds in the tent. Smells pretty good with a slighly more mellow grape.


Strawberry Banana - The bubblegum genetics are coming through fairly strong in the structure of the plant. Nice distinct spicy smell. Pistils are neon yellow which is nice to look at for now.


They're coming along nicely. Probably 3-4 weeks left on the GDP, and 4-5 on the Zkittlez and Strawberry Banana. But they're all from seed (freebies from over the years) so I've never grown them before so I'll just have to wait and see how they finish.

Oh and disregard the burnt tips and dark green colour. I've got 4 plants in a single 50L tub and its a bloody nightmare juggling their needs...especially as a fairly relaxed grower at the best of times. And its my first time using some new nutrients. Apparently this stuff is a bit stronger on the nitrogen front as they are pretty dark. No signs of toxicity or clawing just a bit too dark. The Zkittlez was mad for calmag for a while there and the calmag I'm using is 4-0-0 as opposed to the 2-0-0 that most others I'm seeing are so maybe that contributed? I'm not fussing too much. I just want to get through this grow and go back to my original setup with separate tubs for each plant and then take it from there.

Nice canopy @J2M3S. There is a reason I only showed a close up...my canopy isn't that good.

And @TCH. Nice colours. I've got some potential for purple too but aint seeing shit so far and probably wont.

I've tried 100s of varieties over the years, bah.

Ya, Tvanmunhen, but i can't grow. Illegal as hell. Too crowded, get busted or robbed, period.

I tried 5 diff tinctures from dispensary, and nada, zip, zero for a buzz. Made my own with no high.
But will still try to do my own with the highly expert help that is in RIU. So, yanno, the good side is
i found RIU.

Here are the other 2 plants I've got on the go in the tent.

Watermelon Zkittlez - This is the other plant in the 4 plant tub. It was a runt from day one. Super indica leaning with big fat leaves and big thick central stem. Mostly small popcorn buds and tiny cola...very leafy. But it did flower fast. Looks like it'll be done in another week. So that'll give me something to go on while I wait for the rest. It does smell delicious. Tiny bit of purple coming through on top.



Purple Urkle - This one is in its own little tub. It was basically 12/12 from seed so its only like 25cm/10" tall. It was a last minute thing as I was supposed to do an STS thing this run but it didnt work out. Being on its own tub it didnt get burned, but I kind of neglected it for ages, not topping up or changing to flowering nutes until deep into flower. It smells very much like the Zkittlez, but more better...very much more better lol. Not the best lookin buds so far though. More light would be better but its tucked away down the side.



Grandaddy Purple - The serated edges of the leaves on the GDP all turned upwards over the last few days. I'm pretty sure its a heat thing as I have been pushing the limits with the lights. As I mentioned ealier, my canopy isnt great so in order to maximise light to lower colas I've been getting as low and close as possible to a few tops. Will move them and raise them a little this evening. Otherwise its lookin alright.

I also just want to say that I'm not thrilled with the range of genetics I've got on the go here. I started of with nine seeds, all leftover freebies and a couple of leftover from purchases from over the years...my last remaining seeds. Some were pretty old and never stored well. I tried to germ all nine but these five pictured in this thread are all I ended up with. I started with:
Bubba Haze
Blue Cheese
Master Kush
Afghan Kush
Zkittlez
Watermellon Zkittlez
Grandaddy Purple
Purple Urkle
Strawberry Banana
I definitely would have swapped in a couple of those top four that didnt make it if I had the choice...for a bit more diversity at very least. I honestly cant believe that four of the five that made it ended up being so closesly related.

All of them are on Day 1 - Week 9 (57 days since flip).

Watermelon Zkittlez - I'm thinking about chopping this one this time next week. It will tide me over so I don't have to buy street weed. Its a pretty shitty plant overall. It was a runt and I let it get totally overwhelmed by the other plants so meh. Will only get 1/2 to 3/4oz out of it (while the other 3 plants in the tub will be around 3oz). Crappy bud structure (or lack there of) too. I mean, its there, but its hard to see the bud through the copious thick indica leaves. Its mostly just a small top cola with a few mini golf ball buds below. Basically no appreciable branching.





Zkittlez - Coming along alright. Smell has changed a bit. A bit more chemical now. Was straight up candy for a bit there. This photo is about halfway down one of its 2ft colas.


Purple Urkle - Looks like this little guy is going to be taking his time. Barely a brown hair to be seen.


GDP - Hasn't done much but still coming along fine.


Strawberry Banana - Coming along fine also.
