Botanicare 141 Cloning Machine

So I just purchased the Botanicare 141 site aeroponics cloning system. The one with the resevoir on the bottom and the tray and the misters up top. This will be my first time cloning in an aeroponics machine and I hear that this is one of the best to own. The intructions say nothing about using any rooting gel of anykind. What are your thoughts on this? Does anyone use this machine that can give me exact instructions to have sucess. I have always done great rooting in rockwool cubes but then i hear that these aeroponics machins can have roots ready in as little as 3 days 10 days max. I will be using a trimeter to monitor the temp, ppm, and PH.

stays relevant.
Jesus you must have some insane production planned.

Those clones aren't even going to be in there for more than 10 days... LOL.

When I saw that at the store, I thought to myself I can build one myself for alot less money.
I think after it was all said and done, I think I paid like $40 for the tray, stems, lines, and pump. Took me about 20 minutes to build.

well i clone in an aerocloner and it takes like five days. i have used the root hormone powder on mine and had nice results but i dont know about the gel... but it probably doesnt make a huge difference, hormones or not, the moisture usually does the trick. maybe some water soluble root hormone in your ph balanced water would be a good idea

it's taking me like 17-20 days.....waaaaay too long.
i use gel, could switch to powder but that should not make a difference.
i built mine foe 30 ish minus the pump....25.00
but it's a 30 site with the aerocloner red head misters and a 396 gph sub pump that keeps the water flowin', an air stone and ph'd to 5.8 with 1.7ml/l of 35% h2o2 every couple of days to keep pathogen growth down. temps are good, both air and water. now i' tried to put it on a timer instead of 24/7 , i got it going on/off 15/15 min

The reason I know of people putting them on a timer is because they have problems keeping the water temp own. I hear that 24/7 is the best if water temp is under control.
