botanicares kind nutrient line

Whaddup?! I did soil on my first run with some great results. I used fox farms ocean forest + perlite in smart pots, and used the Roots Organic nutrient line. I was definitely pleased with the results, but the growth was a little slow and so I'm gonna keep running mothers in soil and switch over to an aeroponic system and synthetic nutrient line.

The owner of my local grow store is all about botanicare and their "kind" line of products. My seedlings are sprouting so I need to hurry up and get my aeroponic system up and running (hopefully today) and so I went ahead and picked up some of the base and some of the grow (3 part system), as well as the liquid karma and the silicon stuff (can't remember off the top of my head).

But anyways, I know a lot of people use it; a couple of caretakers I know in Colorado use it and they definitely have amazing results. But I don't think I've seen it mentioned here, well-- at all really. I'm about to use the search function and see what I can dig up, but I figured I would throw this out there and see if any roll it up members are rocking the Kind, and what their experience is with it.

Never ran the kind but I use cns17 and it works good. I don't know how good the liquid karma would play in an aero system as the crust that builds up around the rim of my bottle would clog the sprayers.

Never heard of the Kind line before but I have been using Bontanicare Pro Grow and Pro Bloom for soil for a year now with good results. I am thinking about about trying Hydroponic Research Veg+Bloom this grow.

Right on--man I'm glad you told me that about the crust. Hopefully, where the system continuously sprays 24/7 I won't have that problem. If I do wind up having it, then I can just buy more sprayers (they're really cool--just 70¢ a piece and they just poke right into the line) and swap them out. If I keep having the problem with the crust building up then I might just abandon the liquid karma.

Its not just an aeroponic system, tho. Its gonna be half aero/half hydro. Basically I have a 20 gallon res, and some square vinyl pipe that has one end suspended, and the other end leading to the res. I just bought a cheap fountain pump and a line, and ran the line up the pipe (its a square fence post sleeve) and just put a sprayer everywhere that I am going to cut a site, and put a net pot.

I was thinking I could also cut a hole or two in the lid to the res, and put a couple net pots in it and have a couple sites that were Dwc, and a couple that were aero. I'm super stoked I can't wait to see how it turns out. I'll post some pics.

You usually put your sprayers in-between your sites otherwise the roots will block the sprayers, and it wont be fun replacing sprayers with your tubes full of roots

From what I see Botanicare has a pretty good quality product line for what it is. I've used their Cal/Mag in an emergency before and I was pleased.
