For the past 2 years I have been getting botrytis on cutting tips during rooting in the winter months, sometimes dont matter..... I can pre-treat with daconil or even decree 50, or pre treat during the entire life cycle of the mother with og bio war etc and it does not matter.....
This is with a dome, or without in a water cloner, dont matter, dehumidifier running etc....
Botrytis also attacks my plants in veg or even very early flower if im not totally on top of it...If its infected my plant during veg or early flower the buds develops deformed with no trichs or hairs, its basically trashed....
The mother plants has no botrytis and this time for testing purposes I sprayed hard chems right before taking cuttings, didnt work.....
I have 10 cuttings, 4 has botrytis on the tips...
Unfortunatly cuttings take weeks and sometimes im forced to just treat and reveg the infected clones in order to preserve the genetics, sometimes they are incurable... Im on the verge of losing some genetics and as a pheno hunter this becomes incredibly problematic,,,,
Any insight? Botrytis has become a problem in the past 3 years on vegging plants, not the previous 20 years in the same zone.......
For insight botrytis has only ever attack the insides of dense buds, never young plants, things have changed
