bottom leaves dying

So almost every plant I've grown this year have had the same problem. The bottom leaves will turn yellow, starting at the tip, the whole leaf will turn pale yellow then fall off. I use creek water and well water. Soil is mix of native soil, horse shit and garden soil. I water once a week, and it rains about twice a week. I use alaskan fish fert twice a month. It seems that once the plant becomes well established it will stop turning yellow. I am in southeast us.

Wow really? I thought maybe that could be it but I ruled that out. There is a LOT of horse shit it it. Prob 30-40 percent. It is really old though, almost like compacted dry grass.
The horse shit and the plant recovering with maturity are the give-a-ways. Horse doo-doo isn't that good, cause there's usually lots of horse pee pee too.

That made sense when I said it but I'm high for what it's worth. Horse manure isn't that great, but it's not a big deal if a few bottom leaves die off.

What should I do? I don't think I could change the soil at this point, should I stop fertilizing for a while?
