Bottom Leaves Yellowing- Pic Included

Hey Guys,

Second grow guy here. But it's been a couple of years. My girls look good except everyone of them has the bottom pair of leaves somewhat yellowed. This is the worst one. Any Ideas would be good, I've been trying not to over water, since I have a tendency to micro manage and "over care" so I've tried to let them do their thing, but I have this problem. I've got them in organic soil with blood meal earth worm casting and chicken manure, so I've only been doing water, no ferts. Thanks in advanced!!

My guess is that you're getting some sort of nutrient lockout from your soil being too rich for that size plant. The tip browning fits in with that too. See if you get more opinions...been many years since I did organic soil.

A flush may be needed. Oh, and forgot to mention PH. Usually not an issue with that type of grow but did you test ph before planting?

PS: You can test runoff ph next time you water and that will at least give you some more info.

I recommend use ro water for couple light watering

Did you allow the soil to sit and homogenize for thirty or so days? What were the mix ratios of your amendments? Possibly your soil is to hot or doesn't have enough nutrients..

Seeing the top looks nice and healthy and absent of any tip burns on your leaves I'm leaning towards under feeding or lacking in nutrients..

I just don't believe that soil with blood meal, earth worm casting and chicken manure can't keep a tiny plant like that green. My vote is to gently transplant into a milder soil in a more appropriately sized container. Then transplant up into stronger soil as plant grows.
